Many people think that the reading section is more difficult than the writing, listening and speaking section. This is also true to some extent. Because at the time of reading, you have to maintain a lot of speed and concentration. But there are some tips and tricks related to reading such that you can easily get the score you want.
1. Difficult questions should be left for the end. If you start wasting more time on difficult questions, then you will not have time to give easy answers.
2. Before reading, you should have the question in your mind for which you are looking for the answer. If you do not do this, first you will do the reading, then you will read questions and then you will have to do the reading again.
3. Practice the reading section. You must have heard this saying "Practice makes a man perfect". During practice you will get to know your weakness and strength. Then you can overcome your weakness by hard work.
4. In True/False/Not given, keep in mind that the answer will be True or False only if it is mentioned as it is and clearly in the given Para. If You Doubt the Answer, More Chances Are It's “Not Given”.
5. Collect as much information as you can while reading. If the question is already in your mind, then you can also ignore the useless information.
6. Don't panic if you see stuffy and unknown words while reading. Continue your readings. This is a test of your reading, not of vocabulary.
Here are the main types of questions you can get in the reading test and you have to mange time properly in each section.
True/false/not given questions : dont waste much time in this section. As this section is very consfusing
Multiple choice questions : in reading after true/false multiple choice questions section needs full focus.
